Paris Vitrine was screened at the 46e Semaine Internationale de la Critique in Cannes, France, in 2007

Paris Vitrine was shot during the workshop "20 visions of Paris" on 2007 in Paris. Sánchez and Perona were commissioned by Nisi Masa —European Network of Young Cinema— to shoot a video about the 6th district of Paris. This district was in times the “artists' area” with its own characteristic flair and glamour. Nowadays, this emblematic part of Paris has become an amalgamation of expensive boutiques.
Past and present coexist in the streets of this pincttrest arrondissement giving it a postmodern identity; a memento of glorious vanguards and a mundane globalised urban space.
Just a few inert beholders contemplate with nostalgia from their glass cages the already extinct mystical light of the ‘La Ville-Lumière’ once devoted to art and love.
